EU Nationals
Citizens of countries that belong to the European Union (EU) have a right of free movement. They have the right to live, work and study in another member state. Approximately 1.3 British citizens and roughly 11 million citizens of other EU countries exercise this right. If you are an EA, EEA or Commonwealth nation resident job seeker, student, or other independent person hoping to leave to another member state, Turner White Solicitors’ immigration specialists are here to assist. Simply fulfil a few travel and UK migration-related criteria and we will guide you with your visa process.
Note: The UK’s EEA regulations extend the free movement rights to all EEA, including certain countries that are not part of the European Union (EU). This includes Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Switzerland is neither a member of the EU or EEA. However, Swiss nationals have gained similar rights to those of nationals of EEA countries since 1 June 2002. Thus Swiss nationals are also extended the right to free movement.
